I only ask because the walk from the train station to work and back everyday seems to be spent dodging cyclists on the pavements (which I thought was illegal anyway), getting halfway over a zebra or pelican crossing before leaping out of the way of a cyclist (who never seem to stop for them) and a cyclist scraped my car whilst queuing in traffic.
Luke E. The police do prosecute speeding and other offences. The question was should cyclists carry third party insurance. They may not cause deaths but they do cause injury and property damage. I appreciate your legwork in getting the stats together but there are systems in place to effect recoveries against motorists but none to effect recoveries against cyclists.

Yes, definately. there should be a mandatory test for cyclists of all ages too. Nothing too taxing, just teach them the rules of the road and make sure they are confident on their bike. Its about time that vehicle drivers shouldnt have too take all the blame for accidents and pedestrians should be protected.

My daughter got a ticket and the officer put down the adult court address and not the juvenile court….When she signed the ticket she promised to appear at the court address on the ticket but they have no record of it there because its the wrong court Can we beat the ticket
